In this article of our latest troubleshooting series, we will tackle ways on how to fix Steam Workshop not downloading mods on Windows 10. Although users reported the issue are using Windows 10, it is not limited to Windows 10 but also other users also reported the same issue with Windows 8.1 and Windows 7. Either mods does not appear on the download queue nor mods are not registered for download. Since I can't see any post with this problem, I assume I'm an idiot somewhere, but I just can't seem to figure out what/where the problem is.There have been reports from users experiencing download issues wherein they cannot download mod from Steam’s workshop. Also I had no issues download items prior to the newest update/DLC At least it takes me to the update page if I click. The weird part is that each time I boot the game it "updates" the game, and it doesn't seem to be a workshop upgrade but a game update. If I remove an workshop item that is already in game, it does disappear so there is a connection between steam and the game, since I play Franchises it needs a connection anyway, but yeah. I have made sure it wasn't due to a filter issue and I also restarted the game many times, yet they just won't show up. I am not sure if this fits here, I did make a similar post on Planet Zoo's steam, but got no reply, and not gonna lie I am a little confused and slightly agitated so thought I'll try here.īeen downloading lots of different items from the workshop on steam that other people have created, but for some reason it won't show up in the game.
